scratch marks and lichenification. HBOT has a positive effect on the reduction of

pruritus intensity and improves sleep quality in patients with severe AD. This has a

significant impact on improving the quality of life of these patients.

2. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be a therapeutic option for some patients with atopic

dermatitis, especially in severe cases that are resistant to the standard methods of treatment.
